Rusted Root Sweater
Two session class: Saturady, March 7th at 3:00 p.m. and possible second session if needed on Saturday, March 21 at 3:00 p.m.
This is a great sweater for spring/summer, but looks cute with a long-sleeved tee under it for these cooler days, too! It is worked top-down, in the round, with raglan sleeves – so there is no seaming involved.
Materials: Varies by size and gauge, please call or stop by the shop for info.
Sockology 102: The Monkey Sock
Two-session class: Saturday, March 7th at 1:00 pm
Take the next step in sock knitting and learn to knit a top-down sock with a simple lace pattern. If you’ve been knitting plain stockinette socks, this is the ideal “next step” to keep your sock knitting fun and interesting!
Materials: 300-400 yards of fingering weight yarn, one 32″ US size 2 circular needle
Entrelac Scarf
Single-session class: Saturday, March 7th at 10:30 a.m.
Learn to knit the beautiful, eye-catching “basket-weave” created by entrelac knitting in this single-session class. The pattern is especially beautiful when knit with self-striping yarns that have subtle color changes. Or you can pick out several solid colors and alternate them for a different look.
Materials: 200-300 yards of worsted weight yarn (200 yards will yield a scarf approximately 42″ long, 300 yards will yield apprxomimately 63″), US size 9 needles
